Founded by elite Strongwoman athlete Chelsea Held, Unbreakable Fitness aims to be a private sanctuary that eliminates the friction of the big box experience.
We talked with Chelsea about her journey from the softball diamond to the world stage and why she chose Body-Solid to anchor Unbreakable Fitness.
Chelsea Held’s resume is nothing short of formidable. A former D1 collegiate softball athlete, she transitioned into the world of NPC Figure competition in 2019. However, in 2020, she found her true calling in the world of Strongman. Today, Chelsea is the 2nd Strongest Woman in North America and the 3rd Strongest u82kg athlete in the world.
With over seven years of personal training experience, Chelsea has spent her career working within established facilities. But as her expertise grew, so did her vision for something better.
For Chelsea, the leap to gym ownership was driven by a desire for freedom and focus. She wanted to move away from the distractions of general-membership gyms—no more fighting for equipment or dealing with the feeling her clients often felt.
“I wanted to create a private space dedicated strictly to small group personal training,” Chelsea explains. “No judging eyes, no waiting on a rack. Just a facility dedicated entirely to my members and their progress.”
The result is a premium, private studio environment where the community is tight-knit, and the training is uninterrupted.
When it came time to outfit Unbreakable Fitness, Chelsea had a specific challenge: she needed equipment that offered maximum versatility without overcrowding the floor. Working with longtime Body-Solid dealer Serious Steel Fitness, she found the perfect balance of footprint and functionality.
To achieve that premium feel, Chelsea curated a wide array of Body-Solid essentials, including racks, benches, bars, dumbbells, kettlebells, bumper plates, bikes, rowers, and storage products to help organize it all!
Unbreakable Fitness is currently in the final stages of preparation and aims to open fully by April 1, 2026.
