At just 10 years old, Rocco’s life changed overnight when he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)—a fast-growing cancer of the blood and bone marrow.
When Rocco returned home from the hospital in June 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, his immunocompromised system meant he couldn’t leave the house to work out.
To keep his spirits high and his body strong, his father, Rob, decided to build him a dedicated home gym.
Rob chose Body-Solid to outfit the entire space, building out a complete setup equipped with a Smith machine, cable crossover, pull-up machine, weight benches, dumbbells, and more.
Seeing Rocco’s journey from a hospital bed to where he is today is nothing short of inspirational.
Through pure grit and determination, his physical and mental transformation has been remarkable.
Today, Rocco shares his workout journey on TikTok, where he has built a community of nearly 20,000 followers.
His goal? To inspire other kids—whether they are battling a serious illness or simply looking for the motivation to push through difficult days.
